Become A Member

According to LVSSA’s Charter, Articles of Incorporation, and By-laws -- LVSSA is a senior organization. Accordingly, members must be age 50 by the end of the year that they join. New Members should be able to run. New members are required to purchase their own bat and glove. New members shall never use someone else's equipment without asking permission

Membership dues are $60/year, for new joining members. Dues for late joining new members joining to LVSSA from September 1 to November 30 will pay half the yearly membership fee for that year and must pay to attend the annual membership meeting if held in this time frame. Checks made payable to "LVSSA", Inc. can be given to the Membership Chairman indicated below or to a Field Commissioner.  Dues can be waived if a hardship case is presented to the LVSSA Board of Directors and approved.

Dues are used for recreational play purposes including field maintenance, softballs, picnic, annual meeting/banquet, Good & Welfare Committee cards/donations, and various administrative items. Membership dues are totally separate from all tournament-related activities.  Players aged 80+ in the current year are considered Honorary Members, their dues are waived.
